As we begin a new school year with virtual learning, we know this is a time when teachers and students are quickly adapting to new technology, new teaching and learning methods, and new ways to interact in a pandemic.
Would you pray these verses for our teachers and students this week? The plans keep changing. The schedules are so different. It would be easy to rely on ourselves but we don’t have to. God is with us and for us.
- “And God is able to bless (insert name) abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that (insert name) needs, he/she will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
- “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:17
- Jesus says to us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” May our response be like Paul’s, “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That in why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-12.
