WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY
When we moved here from South Carolina about 5 years ago, I was lost and didn’t have any friends. When I visited VRSM and was welcomed with a warm smile, I felt like I had found a second home. Christ has really changed my life through the meaningful discussions and wonderful community I have experienced at VRSM. It truly is a life-changing group!
I love VRSM because everyone there loves one another like family. The whole ministry is very inclusive and all the leaders are easy to talk to in times of struggle and are there to support you when you succeed. I have made some of my best friends through the ministry and also been able to watch each other grow in Christ and grow together, which has been one of my favorite things since joining the ministry!

VRSM has helped me grow spiritually by showing me what it’s like to love Jesus and love others, but also how to put that into practice by serving the community and laughing together. My relationship with Jesus would not be as strong as it is today without VRSM and the many people and leaders who have invested in me.
VRSM has shown me the purpose and joy found in having Godly community. Being able to walk alongside such a great group of people has made it easier to be bold and grow in my faith. The people here are so special and their love for the Lord is evident by how they love others and invite them into our student ministry. VRSM has taught me how to pursue a deeper faith and seek Christ above all other things.

Spring Grow Group Leader Training & Curriculum
This spring, we did leader training through a series of videos sent to leaders by email on January 14. It should take you about 20 minutes to go through the training and it will give you a great preview of the topics we’ll be covering in the sermons this spring, some coaching on how to do pastoral care for your group members, and more!
This spring, most of our groups have decided to use sermon-based curriculum. Leader guides will be posted below and emailed to all leaders by mid-week. If your group would like to explore other content options, just reach out to Amy Wilkins. We have some great options to recommend.

¿QUÉ ES UN GRUPO DE CRECIMIENTO?
Un Grupo de Crecimiento es un grupo de 10 a 20 personas que se reúnen cada semana para crecer y ser más como Jesús. Lo hacen enfocándose en tres cosas: 1) profundizar en la Palabra de Dios, 2) construir amistades verdaderas y 3) entrenar para nuestra misión.
¿CUÁNDO Y DÓNDE SE REÚNEN LOS GRUPOS GROW?
Los Grupos de Crecimiento se reúnen en varios momentos a lo largo de la semana, incluidos los domingos por la mañana y varias noches. Algunos grupos se reúnen en VRBC y otros se reúnen en casas y apartamentos alrededor de Coppell y Valley Ranch. Puede encontrar una lista detallada de horarios y ubicaciones en vrbc.net/crecer .

CALENDAR
The spring 2025 session begins on Sunday, January 26, and concludes on Wednesday, April 30. A few details:

Spring break for Coppell and Valley Ranch is March 17-21. Our VR Kids and VRSM Grow Groups will not meet on Sunday, March 16. If your group decides not to meet that day or week, please let Amy know. We don't want to have the building unlocked or send guests to your group if you're not going to be there.

During Holy Week, instead of groups meeting individually, all groups will attend the Table to the Cross service together on Thursday, April 17, at 7pm. Sunday groups will meet as usual for Week 12 on April 13. No groups will meet individually from April 14-20. Weekday groups will have their Week 12 meeting April 21-23.

This semester, we are asking all groups to serve with Building for the Better. Please select a date for your group to serve, and have each person register through the events page of our website.
Watch your email for more details on these events as the date approaches. If your group needs to take any other weeks off, just let us know so we can coordinate the calendar accordingly.
