A sermon series about sinking our roots down deep into God’s word.
One of VRBC’s core values is to be “biblically rooted.” We want everything we do, both personally and collectively, to be “rooted” in God’s Word. Just as the roots of a tree provide stability and nourishment, we believe this practice of being rooted in Scripture will help us stay firmly planted where God wants us and will help us grow into the people He wants us to be.
Each week during this series, we’re focusing on a specific passage of Scripture that provides spiritual stability and nourishment. In addition, we’re challenged to memorize that week’s Scripture as part of our commitment to being biblically rooted. To help you in your memorization, here are some resources for you:
Memory Cards – Each Sunday during the sermon series, a “Rooted” card with the week’s memory verse can be found in your Sunday worship folder. Collect these cards and use them as a tool that week to help you memorize God’s Word and in the future to help refresh your memory.
