VRBC WORSHIP BAND

The band serves as the primary accompaniment for all congregational and solo singing in

our worship services. We use a standard rhythm section each week, and mix in other

instruments from time to time. The band rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm

in the Sanctuary. If you’re interested in auditioning for the band, please contact John

VRBC WORSHIP CHOIR

If you love to worship God through singing, come visit choir! The VRBC Worship Choir helps to

lead the church in worship through congregational songs and choral anthems. We rehearse

monthly on Sunday nights at 5:00pm. No auditions or experience are required!  View the

components of a worship service are often taken for granted. However, it takes a small army

of volunteers to make it happen each week! If you are interested in serving on one of our

Previous experience is helpful, but not required. 

86:12 is our student worship ministry, open to all students in 6^th through 12^th grades. The name

comes from Psalm 86:12, which says “I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart, I

will glorify your name forever.” This group exists to give students an opportunity to learn

about worship, lead worship, and participate in a worship lifestyle. We lead worship in the

services on a monthly basis, but worship is much more than singing.  So, there are all sorts of

other aspects to 86:12 - small group communities, mission and service projects during the

year, and a week long mission tour each summer. We meet in the student area from 5:00

to 7:00pm each Sunday evening during the school year, and all are welcome! 

We desire for our children to learn about worship from an early age, and to spend time in

childhood developing a “worship vocabulary” they can use to worship God for the remainder

of their lives. To help us reach this goal, our Children’s Choirs meet on Wednesday evenings

during the school year from 6:00 to 7:00pm to learn hymns, modern worship songs, and

prepare for semi-annual Children’s Choir programs. If you are interested in joining, children's
